Kiddie Cats Learning Centers

I have my classroom set up in centers.  The children have the opportunity to explore each center during choice time.   Science Items that will allow children to explore, touch, and experiment Math Materials to motivate counting, sorting, one to one correspondence skills Reading Readiness Alphabet concepts, letter recognition Book Corner / Couch Small comfortable area to encourage quiet reading and one to one socialization Blocks Variety of building materials to develop large motor skills Small Manipulatives Different materials to improve small motor skills, imagination, and cooperation Dramatic Play Inspires creative thinking and imagination, socialization, and cooperation Creative Art / Writing Choice of media to create unique works of art, practice letters and numbers Computer Educational programs for preschool age children offered daily on a Young Explorer Computer Center
